Orange Business and Aruba form strategic partnership to simplify enterprise networking with a software-defined approach

  • Partnership to deliver flexible, easy-to-deploy software-defined LAN
  • Best in class wired and wireless infrastructure to integrate with WAN

Orange Business and Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, are partnering to help customers transform their enterprise local area networks (LAN) with software-based solutions that are flexible, scalable and easy to deploy. The two partners will also develop LAN solutions to meet specific networking requirements, such as for the next generation of Wi-Fi known as Wi-Fi 6.

Orange Business, which delivers, manages and integrates local connectivity at the Wide Area Network (WAN) level, and Aruba will provide customers with simple, flexible and secure solutions that are multivendor compatible and can interoperate with legacy systems. These solutions will target distributed organizations such as retail, travel and healthcare, allowing them to optimize local operations and deliver new services faster.

Aruba has extensive experience in the secure, intelligent wired and wireless LAN (WLAN) networking space. Most importantly, Aruba brings with it an extra layer of security. Customers of Orange Business will benefit from its role-based access security solutions which enables dynamic segmentation to enforce consistent policies across wired and wireless networks to keep traffic for any user or device separate and secure, regardless of the application or service.

“As part of our multivendor vision, our partnership with Aruba will enable us to offer our customers a quick and easy route to SD-LAN that firmly focuses on their business needs via an end-to-end solution from the branch level up,” explains Anne-Marie Thiollet, Vice President Connectivity at Orange Business.

“Enterprises around the world are looking to deliver an optimal digital experience to their end customers, regardless of organization size or industry vertical,” said Alain Carpentier, senior vice president of Worldwide Sales at Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company. “The collective efforts of Orange Business and Aruba represent a tremendous value to customers in that they now have access to a flexible, secure and open software-based solution so that they can deploy an enterprise-grade SD-LAN with confidence.”
